Tinghir, Morocco

Tinghir (also spelled Tinerhir) is an oasis town in Morocco’s Drâa‑Tafilalet region, nestled between the High Atlas and Jebel Sahro mountains. With a population of around 42,000, it sits at the heart of the lush Todra Valley, famed for its palm groves and dramatic landscapes. The nearby Todgha Gorge features towering limestone cliffs reaching up to 400 m above the riverbed.
