The Colosseum – Rome, Italy

The Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is one of the most iconic symbols of the Roman Empire and the largest ancient amphitheater ever built. Completed in 80 AD, it could hold over 50,000 spectators and hosted gladiator contests, public spectacles, animal hunts, and even mock naval battles.
Today, it's a powerful reminder of ancient Roman engineering and culture and is one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
