The 2026 U.S. Open returns to New York for another summer of world-class tennis, bringing the sport’s biggest stars to Queens for the final major tournament of the season. The tournament runs from August 23 through September 13, 2026.

Tournament Schedule

The U.S. Open begins with qualifying matches before moving into mixed doubles, quad wheelchair matches, and men’s and women’s singles competition.

The main draw runs from August 30 through the end of the tournament. Qualifying matches are scheduled for August 24–27 as part of Fan Week, which takes place immediately before the main draw.

Fan Week is free to attend, although some experiences require paid tickets. Activities include player practices, on-court activities and other activations throughout the grounds, with the US Open Qualifying Tournament serving as the centerpiece.

Where to Watch the U.S. Open

The U.S. Open takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens.

For fans unable to attend in person, ESPN and ESPN+ typically provide coverage of the tournament.

Tickets and Food

Tickets for the 2026 U.S. Open are now on sale. The tournament grounds also feature a range of bars and cafes, while nearby Flushing offers a wide selection of restaurants.

Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, home to the tennis center, is also one of New York’s major attractions and among the popular destinations to visit in Queens.
