AIRLINES SCHEDULE CHANGES/FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS

Airline Schedule Change Policy for Flyallover

Overview
Airline schedules are subject to change due to operational needs, which may include modifications to flight times, numbers, routes, dates, or even cancellations. These changes can occur unexpectedly and are outside the control of Flyallover. It is important to be aware that such alterations are often driven by the airline’s operational requirements and may affect both future and same-day travel.

Types of Changes:
Schedule changes may include, but are not limited to:

  • Flight number modifications

  • Time adjustments

  • Route changes

  • Date alterations

  • Cancellations (including suspension or reduction of service to specific destinations or days of operation)

Reasons for Schedule Changes or Cancellations:
Common reasons for these changes may include:

  • Peak travel seasons or low travel demand

  • Airport terminal or gate changes

  • Fluctuations in fuel prices

  • Civil unrest or political instability

  • Airline bankruptcy or financial issues

Liability Disclaimer:
Flyallover is not responsible for any flight cancellations, missed connections, or missed flights due to changes made by the airline.

Our Policy on Schedule Changes:
Flyallover will make every reasonable effort to notify customers about schedule changes. We strongly recommend that customers reconfirm their flights directly with the airline 72 hours prior to departure.

Airline-Initiated Schedule Changes:
Involuntary schedule changes initiated by airlines—such as time adjustments, layover changes, or cancellations—are outside the control of Flyallover. If these changes affect your flight, you will not be charged additional fees or fare differences.

Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs):
For flights booked with low-cost carriers (e.g., Frontier, Spirit), please contact the airline directly for any schedule changes. Flyallover’s agents are unable to assist with changes to LCC bookings.
If you have booked a combination of one-way tickets, and one of the flights is operated by an LCC, please follow these steps:

  • Contact the LCC directly for any required changes to the affected flight.

  • Once the changes are confirmed with the LCC, contact Flyallover if you need assistance with modifying the non-LCC portion of your trip.

Full-Service Carriers:
When schedule changes occur with full-service airlines, Flyallover will collaborate with the airline to offer the closest available flight option to your original itinerary. We will notify you once we have secured a new flight option. In some cases, no action may be required on your part, while other situations may require your input.

Prior to Departure:
If a schedule change occurs within 4 hours of your original flight departure, we will notify you via email. While we will attempt to contact you through other means, our email notice will be considered the final communication. For changes within a 4-hour window, tickets will remain non-refundable. Some tickets may be non-refundable even for changes beyond 4 hours. Flyallover assumes no liability for missed or cancelled flights due to airline schedule changes.

On the Day of Departure:
If changes occur after you’ve already arrived at the airport, you will need to contact the airline directly at the airport counter. In cases of severe weather, options may be limited, and weather conditions at your destination may differ from where you are currently located. We recommend checking the airline's website and local weather sources for updates.

Customer Obligations:
Customers are responsible for reconfirming their flights with the airline 24 to 72 hours before departure. It is essential to monitor emails for updates and act promptly.

Customer Notification:
Flyallover will make efforts to contact you at least 3 times via email and once by phone regarding any schedule changes. If you fail to respond, you may miss your flight, lose the value of your tickets, or experience significant delays, potentially postponing your travel by days or weeks.

Services Provided:
Flyallover will assist you in contacting the airline and seeking a resolution, which may include alternative flights or a refund in the case of a cancellation. If you do not fulfill your obligations, alternative options may not be available.

Re-Protecting or Refund Requests:
We will request the airline to re-accommodate you, but it ultimately depends on the airline’s policies. If re-accommodation is not possible, we will initiate a refund request.

In the event of flight cancellations, Flyallover will work with the airline to find alternative flights or explore refund options on your behalf.
